'Boys World' Mixology packs by PattyB Scraps

PattyB Scraps has joined Go Digital Scrapbooking and has made a couple of packs  for the ‘Boy’s World’ Mixology which you can find in store here:

Here are the previews:

Here is the layout I made with 'Boy's World' using a photo of Corey actually standing still. Most unusual for him as he is usually dashing about:

I finished another little cardigan for James. Took a bit longer this time as the yarn was 4ply and a lot finer than the double knitting yarn that I have used for the other cardigans:

I was really pleased with how this turned out as I have never done a shawl collar before. Susan and Ian really loved it. Look at the little smiley buttons:

I have started on another cardigan using a lovely maroon double knitting yarn and will post a photo when it is finished.

'Life's a Beach' by PattyB Scraps

The layout I made has a photo taken when we were on holiday on the Isle of Wight in July:

I will be back soon with some news from PattyB Scraps - watch this space.

'Musical Atttitude' by PattyB Scraps

I made a layout using ‘Musical Attitude’ by PattyB Scraps which you can find in store here:

Soon at My Memories: http://bit.ly/pbs_MM

Here is the preview:

For my layout I used another of my favourite photos from Susan and Ian's wedding and as soon as I put it on this wonderful paper I knew what the title would be:

They are always laughing together and this bodes for a very happy marriage. I can't wait until their new little son joins them to make their happiness complete.

I finished another of my little cardigans for James at the weekend using the same pattern as the other blue one I made. This time we found some cute little toggle buttons to use. Aren't they cute.

I will be back soon with some more layouts and perhaps another little cardigan.

‘Ocean Waves’ Kit and Clusters by Happy Scrap Arts

Back in July I was lucky enough to win a 'Ho Ho Ho' contest on the My Memories Facebook Page.

I received a voucher to spend in Happy Scrap Arts' store and I chose the ‘Ocean Waves’ Kit and Clusters which you can find here:

http://www.mymemories.com/store/display_product_page?id=EDHS-CP-1406-61381

Here are the previews:

I made two layouts using 'Ocean Waves'. The first uses photos taken during our holiday on the Isle of Wight in July:

The second layout has photos taken when my daughter Susan and her husband Ian were on a Dolphin Experience at Discovery Cove in Florida. They had a fabulous time getting up close and personal with the dolphins:

You can find the Blog and Facebook Fan Page for Happy Scrap Arts here:

I have been busy knitting for the last couple of weeks. Susan and Ian are expecting their first baby, who they are calling James, at the beginning of November and they asked if I could knit some little cardigans for him. Here are the photos of the first two that I have finished:

It is quite some time since I got out my knitting needles and I was so pleased with how the cardigans turned out. I just love the little teddy buttons on the blue one and the grey one has faux leather buttons. So cute.

‘Life is Splendid’ by PattyB Scraps and 'Back to School' by Country Liv's Graphics

I just love this new kit ‘Life is Splendid’ by PattyB Scraps. It is so versatile as my two layouts will show you. You can find it in her stores here:

http://www.mymemories.com/store/display_product_page?id=PBPS-CP-1408-68377

Here is the kit preview:

My first layout uses one of my favourite photos from the wedding of my daughter Susan and Ian. I really love the corners and the alpha which is included in the kit.:

The second layout is of Tyler and his Nan (me) playing Darth Vader and Tyler meeting the 'real' Darth Vader:

Two entirely different styles of layout using the same lovely kit. Don't you just love the distressed wood paper in the second layout?

I have another layout to show you of Tyler when he started back to School on Wednesday. His Mum took the photo of him before school and the after school photo was taken by his Dad. Aren't they great?

This layout was made with last year's Back to School freebies (sadly no longer available) from my friend Liv of Country Liv's Graphics as well as her contributions to the 2014 'Back to School' Create a Kit at Digi Style Designs which you can find in store here:

You can find Liv's Facebook Fan Page here:
