Tyler and his brother Corey have had such fun riding on this cute train and I am sure that James will be absolutely enthralled as well - when he is old enough.

It was Ian's birthday on Monday and I made his birthday card using a coverdisk that I got with a cardmaking magazine:

I thought that the kits were just right to showcase this wonderful photo of my daughter Susan and her son James:

I used a tape that is in the kit to make the frame and the stitching on the heart button is cut from the string.

Susan has been busy knitting and she is so proud of the lovely blanket that she made for James:

I made another cardigan for James and he looks so cute wearing it. It has Paddington Bear buttons.

Oh, and I forgot to show you the card I made for Natalie's birthday last month. I used a kit that came with a cardmaking magazine and I just loved the colours:

Christmas is almost here

The last few weeks have gone by so quickly and I have only just had a chance to make my Christmas cards for the family.

The first one I made is for my daughter Susan and her husband Ian:

 

I got these gorgeous papers with one of my cardmaking magazines a while ago and as purple is Susan's favourite colour I knew she would like it. I added some peel off stickers but they have not come out very well in the picture.

The next one is for my son Richard and his wife Charlie. I used WRAPPED UP by Kristin Aagard Designs. The background paper is one that I already had in my paper stash:

I just added a few red gems and some golden flowers.

I made the next couple of cards for my grandsons Corey and Tyler using WINTER WONDERS by Snackpackgu's Designs. I just added a few peel off stickers:

The last one is for my new grandson James and I made this using WINTER PENGUINS by Albums to Remember Designs:

I am sure that Tyler and Corey will love their cards but I think that James at 7 weeks old is not quite old enough to appreciate Christmas yet although he does love the lights on the Christmas tree.

Cards, layouts and having fun

I was so thrilled that he had made this special card for me.

 My little grandson Tyler really enjoyed himself going on all the rides and climbing aboard the tractor and the digger when we went to Old MacDonald's Farm.

It was my husband Richard's Birthday on Sunday and I made him a card using some the freebies that came with my cardmaking magazines. I really love the background paper and the tile alphabet that I used .

Let's Celebrate

Today my daughter Susan and her husband Ian are celebrating their second anniversary. They got married in Norfolk at Cley Windmill and we all had a wonderful time.

It is Ian's birthday in a few days and I made him a card using 'Our Boy' by Country Liv's Graphics:

He has been busy lately doing some DIY work in their house and is turning into quite a Mr Fix It, so I thought this card was quite appropriate.

Happy Birthdays

It is a long time since I gave anybody a store bought Birthday or Christmas card.

We have had a few birthdays in the family recently and I would like to show you a few of the cards that I made.

This is one I made for Natalie using a kit I got with a cardmaking magazine:

This is one I made for my son Richard using a selection of digital birthday kits. I used a template for the cake and think it came out well:

Here is one I made for Charlie's birthday using a flower fairies kit:

This is the card I made for Susan's birthday: I used various digital kits in shades of our favourite colour purple. I just love that background paper with the leaves.

It is my husband Richard's birthday tomorrow and I have made him a nice relaxing card but you will have to wait to see it.

I also made a card for Natalie's birthday which is on Monday. I just love butterflies and had to add the butterfly charms for Natalie. I do hope she likes it.
