Diane of ADB Designs is hosting the February 2014 Surprise Challenge at Wilma4Ever:

http://www.wilma4ever.com/w4eforum/showthread.php?3245-FEB-2014-Surprise-Challenge-with-Diane-%28ADB-Designs%29

Here is the preview of the free kit provided for this challenge:

The challenge was to create a layout using the free kit provided. You could also use parts of the 'Age of Aquarius Collection by Over The Fence Designs (ADB Designs and PattyB Scraps collaboration). I decided to just go with the free kit and made this layout using the words to 'Age of Aquarius':

PattyB also made a layout for the challenge and her clustering is marvellous. I wish I could do clusters like this.

Don't you think Patty's layout is gorgeous?

Secret Valentine Contest at Wilma4Ever

I made two layouts for the Secret Valentine Contest at Wilma4Ever:

http://www.wilma4ever.com/w4eforum/showthread.php?3238-Secret-Valentine-for-February-2014

Here is the preview of the kit I was given to work with 'Secret Valentine' by Aprilthescrapaholic:

Here are my two layouts. The first uses a photo of my daughter-in-law Charlie and Corey my little grandson:

Here is my second layout using photos taken at my daughter Susan's wedding to Ian in March 2012. The bridesmaids were Natalie (who is Ian's sister) and Charlie (who is married to my son Richard). Susan is addicted to the colour purple so I had to do some re-colouring to fit in with the theme of the wedding!!

Don't you just love those shoes and the beautiful bouquet? All the flowers for the wedding were made of silk and were specially made for Susan.

'Valentine Romance' by PattyB Scraps

Digi Style Designs has a new Create a Kit called 'Valentine Romance' and PattyB Scraps has three packs in store here:

Here are the previews:

I made a couple of layouts using these beautiful packs. The first one is me and my husband walking down the aisle nearly 44 years ago:

I made the frame using the lace in the kit and coloured the frame backing to match the kit.

The second layout is a photo taken at a Christmas party organised by the company that Grandad worked for. The photo is of me, my brother Alan and a little friend all eating ice cream. We went to quite a few of these parties and always had our photos taken eating ice cream!!

Well, that is all for today. Be back soon.
