I had a comment from EdnaB on my Tiger Tyler layout which reminded me that I haven't shown you any of my early layouts of Tyler. This wonderful little boy who is now a happy, noisy almost 4 year old was born 12 weeks early and only weighed 780gm (1lb 10oz).  He was a determined little fighter and left the hospital 11 weeks later weighing 4lbs (1.8 kilos).

I will let the layouts speak for themselves.

Well, I think that is about all for today. Show you some more tomorrow.

I finished my kit for the Moo Two September 2012 Paint the Barn Challenge.

Here are the previews of my kit:

If you want to download the kit you will need to go to the September 2012 Paint the Barn  thread in the Forum. Make sure you get both downloads to get the full kit.

I have been working again with the Retro Summer kit by Country Liv's Graphics and made a layout using a photo of Tyler when he had his face painted at a Church Bazaar in the Summer. I also used a wordart by TLC. Here is the link to her blog.

Doesn't he look so cute?

I have also been busy working with some kits from Country Liv's Graphics. I have made two card fronts which you can download on Liv's Blog.

Here is the preview of the card I made with Retro Summer. I also made a border strip and a necklace which are included in the download.

Here is the preview of my card front made with Paisley Attitude:

Don't forget to go to Liv's Blog and pick up these goodies. Liv also has other wonderful freebies which you can pick up on her Blog. While you are there you should subscribe to her Newsletter as she often gives away freebies to her subscribers.

Liv also has a Facebook fan page. Why not visit her page and 'like' her, I hear she is giving away freebies to her 'likers'.

I have been busy over the last week working on my kit for the Moo Two Paint the Barn Challenge. The kit is finished and I just need to make the previews and upload it.

I have also made a layout with Country Liv's Graphics new kit Retro Summer.

Here is a preview of Liv's wonderful new kit:

Here is my layout using photos of my grandson Tyler when he was quite small. He is really enjoying himself.

The necklace on the layout is not actually in the kit. I wanted to join the two photo frames together so I made the necklace from the pink necklace string in the kit and one of the paper posies. I also layered a bow on top of one of the buttons.

I'll be back soon with the preview of my new Paint the Barn kit and further information about how you can download it..

I found this lovely smile on my friend Suruha's Blog.

Suruha and her adorably funny friend EdnaB are giving away a set of CU freebies which they are calling 'Designer Stash 001'. They are posting parts to this wonderful Stash on their blogs each Monday for three weeks and are hoping to be able to give away a new Stash every three months.

Here are the previews of Designer Stash 001.

Suruha's Part

Edna's Part

They are really generous, aren't they?

I have been experimenting with one of the overlays in the free download from Edna and have come up with a misty green paper which I think is nice. I selected different areas of the original  and recoloured in various shades of green and then used the Virtual Painter in Paintshop Pro.

I will have to experiment a bit more and see what else I can come up with.

I've been very busy working on my layouts with the Moo Two Level Up Collaboration which is currently available in Store at the special price of only $6.

Here is my first layout using photos of Tyler playing with his little VTech machine:

My second layout is using photos sent to me by my good friend Liv of  Country Liv's Graphics. The photos are of her wonderful grandson Joshua when he was a small boy.

Here is a layout I recently made for Liv using papers and a border I made myself:

I'll say goodnight now. talk to you again soon.

I didn't get time to do a full kit for the Moo Two Paint the Barn Challenge for August 2012, so I made a paper pack instead.

Here is the colour palette:

Here is the preview of my paper pack:

You need to go to the forum (above) to get the links for my contribution. I hope you will register and enjoy yourself in the forum at Moo Two and perhaps enter a challenge or two. You will find the links to the store, forum and gallery, here.

I hope, time permitting,  that I will be able to make a full kit and not just a paper pack for the September 2012 Paint the Barn Challenge.

Well I'll say goodnight now as it is getting quite late.

Sunday, 2 September 2012

I've made my fourth layout with the Moo Two Pool Party Collaboration.

These photos were taken when Susan and Ian swam with Dolphins on their honeymoon trip to Florida in July this year.

I have a new collaboration to work with from Moo Two Designs. It is called Level Up and is available in the store here. The collaboration is all about games and includes video games such as Pacman and car racing and fantasy games; as well as the more traditional types of games such as draughts, dominos and card games. Here is a preview of the fantasy part of the collaboration which was created by Panda Bear Designs.

I hope to have a few layouts to share with you shortly.

Talk to you again soon.
