I thought the colours in the kit would be really good to make a layout using Tyler's nursery school photos, so I made a layout for the 'Surprise Me Border Challenge' at the Studio.

I used one of the gears in the kit to make a frame and I used the kit alpha to make the title. I just love these photos. What a wonderful smiling face!

I made another layout using 'And Winter Came' from jusme digital. I used one of the splats in the kit to make a mask and I think it turned out pretty good. The subject, of course, is Tyler.

Don't you just love his little outfit. As you can see this was Tyler's first Christmas.

I have added some little widgets to my blog so you can  link to the designers I CT for. Just click on any of the little pictures at the top right of my blog and you will be taken to the designer's blog where you can find the links to the designer's stores, newsletter and Facebook fan page. I will also continue to include links to kits in my blog posts.

I made a second layout using a photo from my friend Liv of Country Liv's Graphics.

There were so many wonderful papers to choose from but in the end I decided to use the tree one as I thought it went best with the photo. The photo frame is clipped from a paper in the kit.

I have another wonderful layout made by my friend Liv of Country Liv Graphics. She used some papers and elements from her in progress kit 'Glorious Winter'. The layout is a match to the one of Tyler that I posted on Monday.

I was so delighted when I opened my mail this morning and found this wonderful layout:

It was made by my friend Liv using the photo I showed you yesterday. When Tyler saw it this morning he said 'Are you going to print it, Nanny'. So that is what I did so that he can take it home with him and put in the scrapbook album I have been making for him since he was born.

Liv is a wonderful designer, she designed the items she used to make the layout. She is also a wonderful layout artist. I have two more photos to show you of Tyler. These were also taken yesterday but they were quite dark and Liv adjusted them for me.

Tyler is playing with some farm animals that he got with his new Thomas the Tank Engine magazine. Aren't the photos adorable?

The journalling is the lyrics of a song sung by Perry Como called 'It's just the Gypsy in my soul'. Don't you just love the gorgeous frame and the gold stand for it, and the little tassels just add the finishing touch.

My son Richard, his wife Charlie and the two little ones, Corey and Tyler, are staying with us this weekend and my husband took some photos this morning:

Corey fell asleep in my arms and didn't even wake up when they put his outdoor suit on. Doesn't he look cute in it. Charlie's friend Karina gave it to Corey for his first birthday on Thursday.
