'For Paula' collaborative kit

My friend SherryD is organising a collaborative kit to raise funds for the medical care of her husband’s sister, Paula, who is suffering from breast cancer. Sherry who designs under the names ‘Wonderland Scraps’ and ‘Sher Scraps 4CU’ is asking designers to make a small contribution to this kit which will be on sale at http://bellazingarostudio.com/shop/ and http://berryapplicious.com/store/ with proceeds to go to Paula.

I quote Sherry: ‘Instead of doing a kit aimed at breast cancer in predictable pink, I thought a kit with wider appeal would be best.  Paula's favorite color is purple which made me think of pansies which, in Victorian language of flowers, stand for thoughts.  They have also been called Heart's Ease and that seemed appropriate too.’

'Absolute Reality' by jusme digital

Christine of jusme digital has just released her new kit 'Absolute Reality' in her store at Scrap Takeout. Here is the preview of this lovely kit:

 

I made two layouts using 'Absolute Reality'. The first one is of Corey and Tyler playing together.

The second one is of the two boys with their Dad, my son Richard.

 

I couldn't resist using this photo. Look at the wonderful grin on Tyler's face and Corey is waving to you!

Another layout with 'A Snowflake Day' by Country Liv's Graphics

My friend Liv of Country Liv's Graphics has signed up to two more stores, Heartfelt Perfections and Berry Applicious. She will be having a Grand Opening Sale in both stores for the first two weeks of February.

I just love the wonderful colours - purples, greens and pinks - and it has flowers, strings, frames and banners as well as the wonderful outlined alpha which I used in my second layout..

My daughter-in-law Charlie published these photos of Tyler and Corey on her Facebook page and as soon as I  saw them I knew they would be perfect for this kit bundle with it's wonderful paint splatters.

I have used these two photos in a layout before because I thought they were so lovely. The sweet young ladies are Angie and Charlie and the photos were taken in my back garden. Don't you just love the way they are posing behind the trellis-work?

There are a couple of add-ons to the kit available in the stores. There is a set of wonderful cluster frames as well as a set of layered photo masks. Why not get them both at the same time as you buy the kit?

Here is my layout using 'A Snowflake Day'. I used a photo mask on the first photo and think it turned out really great. Of course I could not make a layout about snow without using a photo of Tyler, could I?

I have also been working on a layout with a beautiful new kit from jusme digital but you will have to wait to see my layouts until after the kit is released in the stores on 17 January. Watch this space!
